Matcha Latte

This is how I make my daily matcha lattes. Skip the overpriced lattes from your local cafe and make them at home! You can experiment a bit to find your own perfect formula, but here’s mine!

Ingredients
1 tsp matcha powder
4 oz of hot water
1/2 cup of frothed milk (I like almond, pistachio, or cashew)
Dash of cinnamon
Scoop of collagen powder


Method

  • Sift your matcha into your bowl.

  • Add 2oz of hot water and whisk for about 20 seconds until frothy and smooth.

  • Add the matcha shot into a mug and top with another 2oz of hot water.

  • Add collagen and a dash of cinnamon. Mix with a handheld frother. Optionally you can add a bit of vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste, sometimes I use vanilla flavored milk so I’ll omit this step.

  • Top it off with frothed milk and another sprinkle of cinnamon.
