Maple Pecan Banana Bread

 

MAPLE PECAN BANANA BREAD

Banana bread will never get old, let’s face it! It’s a classic, and there’s endless possibilities of new combos. This one is pretty legit- plus it’s vegan, gluten free, and healthy!

Ingredients

2 over ripe bananas
3 flax eggs
2 tbsp applesauce
1/3 cup pecan butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 cups almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp chopped pecans

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350. Line a bread pan with parchment paper.

  • Mash banana in a large bowl. Add in applesauce, pecan butter, and maple syrup. Mix well. Add in almond flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Mix until ingredients are combined well.

  • Add the mix to the bread pan and sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.

  • Place in the oven and cook for 45 minutes.

  • Let cool and cut into slices. Enjoy!
