Chocolate Covered Matzo Bark
If you’re looking for a new dessert recipe, look no further… this simple chocolate matzoh bark is basically like a giant chocolate covered pretzel! Plus, it can be made GF, using gluten-free matzo!
Ingredients
1 piece of matzoh
3 soaked pitted medjool dates
1 tbsp tahini
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 cup melted dark chocolate
1 tbsp chopped nuts
Sprinkle of sea salt
Method
Start by making your date caramel. Combine 3 soaked dates with tahini coconut oil and a splash of water in a food processor and blend until smoothy and creamy (should be a creamy paste consistency)
Spread the date paste on the matzoh.
Melt the dark chocolate and then drizzle over the matzoh.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts and sea salt.
Place in the freezer for about 30 mins to an hour or until the chocolate has hardened.
I chose to top mine with the chopped nuts and sea salt, but you can use whatever toppings you’d like!
